Our chassis models
All chassis main frame members consist of MIG-welded high grade Swedish steel to ensure maximum strength combined with a low weight. The frames’ I-beams are welded both inside and outside. The cross members are made of rectangular hollow beams, to allow for high torsional flexibility and high vertical rigidity.
The standard King Pin is 2" and is both flanged and bolted into the semi-trailer neck.
Parking legs are of telescopic, 2-speed design, with rubber hinged feet. The crank attachment is outside the vehicle, i.e. it is operated outside a container carried on the HAMMAR.
Turn table height is individual, depending on your requirement and/or road regulations of maximum overall height.
All chassis are available with different axle configurations, leaf spring or air suspension and with a numerous different wheel sizes. Chose chassis with ABS, EBS, disc brakes.
The S-chassis
"S" for Sliding. The most common of chassis with rugged proven technology. A straight and very light chassis for handling high payloads. Available as fix 20', or the cranes sliding on the chassis rail between 20'-40' modes, also available as sliding 20'-45' as an optional extra.
Suitable for Crane models: 150 and 190
The C-chassis
"C" for Combined. A combination of telescopic chassis and sliding cranes that will always give exceptional load distribution for all sizes of containers.
The C-chassis gives outstanding utilization of the legally permitted payload from 20' up to 48'.

The T-chassis
"T" for Trombone. The length of the chassis can be adjusted between 20' and 40'. With the chassis retracted to 20', it is very suitable for transport into confined areas where space is limited.
Suitable for Crane models: 150, 190 and ML12
The LOW-chassis
The sloping chassis is designed for low height transports and legally transport tank containers.

The A-Double chassis
A feature available in combination with a standard skeletal trailer. A fifth wheel is fitted at the rear end of the HAMMAR, allowing you to connect the standard skeletal trailer behind the HAMMAR in a B-double combination. The HAMMAR is used to load/offload the combination. Can carry 3x 20’, 2 x 20’ 1x 20’ and 1x 40’ containers or one heavy container only on the rear B- trailer.
