Below you will find some of the accessories available for your HAMMAR.

Except for the standard options you can, of course, get your HAMMAR with any other options to suit your needs.

Trailer mounted power pack (Standard inclusion)

Separate Power Pack, for independent drive of the hydraulics, on the HAMMAR. The engine is a 4-cylinder diesel engine, with 80hp power and with 12/24 volt electrical system.

 

PTO & Pump kit mounting (Optional extra)

Complete fitting of a PTO/pump kit on your truck. Choosing the PTO as power source is a much lighter and less noisy alternative. It is self lubricating and is thus maintenance free and will save fuel with each kilometre.

The following is included: Power take off (PTO), double circuit piston pump, overflow valve, return oil filter, side mounted oil tank with cap, hydraulic hoses, quick couplings etc. and hydraulic oil.

Twinlock (Standard inclusion)

With 2 x 20' capacity it's easy to lift and transport two 20' containers up to 25 tonne in weight. The patented HAMMAR Twinlock is quick and simple to use and weighs only 4.25 kg.

 

HAMMAR Safety + (Standard inclusion)

The HAMMAR Safety+ is an advanced safety monitoring system, built with a central PLC system that guarantees safe lifting. The mass of the load and the load position is continuously monitored in relation to the sideloader trailer and the sideloader support legs positions, preventing the sideloader from entering a lift position, which may put man and machine in danger.

If the load enters an area where danger can occur, the operator is only allowed to bring the load back into a safe operating position.

The HAMMAR Safety + system is equipped with a display on which a number of variables are shown. The operator can continuously monitor the mass of the load, the load distribution between the cranes and the position of the load and support legs. On the display the operator can also see total work hours, total number of lifts and the present system voltage. HAMMAR Safety+ allows the crane arms to be operated before placing the support legs on the ground, thereby giving easy access to connecting the hooks to the container corner castings.

Container Positioner (Standard inclusion)

Drive up to the container and you will find the right parking position with ease.

 

Radio Control (Optional extra)

One cordless radio control, model Autec, for all functions on the HAMMAR Sideloader. The portable transmitter is a one hand unit. The operator can overlook the operation from any position suitable. The complete handling operation is done quicker, because the driver can operate the Sideloader and secure the container, or do other necessary adjustments simultaneously.

The transmitter with it´s easy-to-read pictogram is kept in a charger/holder in the driver’s cabin during transport. Two rechargeable batteries, a 24V charger and a transparent protection are included.

Our standard cable remote control, with joysticks, is also included in the delivery and can be plugged in within seconds, should the need arise.

Lift Axle (Optional extra)

Lifts the rear axle off the ground reducing tyre and brake wear.

 

Alloy wheels (Optional extra)

Reduce (unsuspended) tare weight by around 250kg. Reduce tyre wear. Plus they look great!

 

Ringfeder Tow Coupling (Optional Extra)

Tow coupling for road train use. Includes all air and electrical fittings.

 

EBS - Electronic braking, Roll stability
(Optional extra)

Enhanced braking with reduced pad / lining wear and shorter stopping distances.
• Enhanced cornering safety, reducing risk of rollover.
• Prevents brake lock up, improves tyre life.
• Prevention of one accident would most likely pay for the system!

 

Disc brakes (Optional extra)

The Disc Brake has far superior fade performance, which means that the brakes are not prone to fade, as are drum brakes.

• The Disc Brake is also more sensitive and reacts quicker, resulting in a shorter braking distance. Less down time
• As there are fewer components to service on the disc brake.
• As there is no greasing required on the disc brake, unlike conventional drum brakes which require regular lubrication of the camshaft bushes and slack adjusters.
